Born and raised in Brisbane, Maddy completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at the University of Queensland before moving to Central Queensland as a new grad to soak up country life. Before joining the Pop team, Maddy worked for a not for profit providing therapy to young children and also for QLD health in a rural hospital, supporting patients across the lifespan. Maddy has a keen interest in infancy and early childhood development, as well as supporting those in regional and rural Australia where access to services is that much harder due to distance!
Maddy is currently traversing Australia with her partner in her Hilux and swag, living the best of both worlds of seeing the sights whilst also doing work for Pop. Her highlights so far include climbing Mt Kosciuszko, learning to drive a tractor and swimming in the winter beaches of Tasmania.
Maddy is part of Pop’s Free Consultation team, so she’s one of the friendly Speech Therapists you might chat to when you book in with us!
Pop acknowledges and pays respect to the past and present Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
