Elaine Braga Speech Pathologist

"Growing up, I was always very quiet, shy and often found it hard to express myself. That experience really helped me appreciate how vital communication is for connection and confidence and has deepened my passion for helping others develop their communication skills."

~ Elaine

Based in Melbourne, Elaine brings over six years of speech pathology experience to sessions, completing her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Australian Catholic University in 2018. What started as a drive to help others, Elaine quickly discovered that she had an even deeper personal connection to speech therapy. Her experience growing up as a quiet, shy child has shaped her understanding of how important and empowering communication can be.

Elaine excels in supporting children with Speech Sound Disorders, literacy challenges, fluency, and both preschool and school-aged language needs. She has completed a range of additional training, including:

• Hanen It Takes Two to Talk
• Sounds Write
• Lidcombe Program
• Meaningful Speech
• SOS Approach to Feeding
• PODD
• Which Phonological Intervention Should I Choose? Adventures in Speech Pathology
• Practical Strategies & Resources: Your Toolkit for CAS with Jenny Bjorem

Elaine’s toolkit is as diverse as the families she works with, and she brings warmth, creativity, and evidence-based support to every session.
