Kate is Pop’s CEO and a Speech Pathologist with a passion for delivering high quality services that focus on the unique needs of each client and their family.
She has worked in rural, regional and metropolitan settings in hospitals, community health centres and schools.
For the early part of her career, she was a generalist Speech Pathologist. This was a fantastic foundation that enabled her to embark on a career concentrating on adult services, including the areas cancer care, intensive care, spinal injuries, general medicine, stroke and brain injury.
Kate brings her knowledge as a Senior Speech Pathologist to her role as CEO to create a high-quality experience for clients with strong clinical foundations.
When she’s not at work, Kate is a mother to 4 young children, step mum to 2 older children, wife to a busy husband and active member of her kids’ school and kindy communities. Her experience as a mum helps her to understand the joys and challenges that parenting brings and helps her to empathise with and support families on their journey.
