Based in Sydney, Emma holds a Bachelor of Communication and a Master of Speech Pathology, both from the University of Technology Sydney, and has been a practising speechie for nearly 3 years.
Inspired by her mum, an emergency nurse, Emma always knew she wanted a career in health (minus the gory stuff). Being a lifelong chatterbox, speech pathology was the perfect fit.
Her clinical interests include social communication, language (especially written expression and higher-order thinking), stuttering, literacy, speech sound disorders and dysphagia. Emma is also trained in Sounds-Write.

Collecting books (and occasionally reading them)
