Introducing Jasmine, a dedicated speech language pathologist from Melbourne. Jasmine’s passion started in her earlier career as a singing teacher and musician, studying for an Advanced Diploma in Music Performance (Voice). She loved learning about the voice and how it worked, and found herself wanting to discover more. Naturally, becoming a speech pathologist was what made the most sense.
In her studies, she learned how communication and swallowing are connected to our wellbeing, and became even more inspired when seeing the impact it has on how we connect with loved ones.
Jasmine’s areas of special interest are Voice, School-Aged and Adult Communication, Literacy, and Dysphagia (swallowing problems). She has also completed a short course in Key Word Sign and believes that it is a privilege to be able to work with clients on their communication and mealtime goals every day.
