Meet Stephanie, a dedicated Speech Pathologist based in regional South Australia. Steph holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Flinders University and has been a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist since 2018. She has a wealth of knowledge in supporting adults with communication and swallowing difficulties, including those living with stroke, brain injury, progressive neurological conditions, and dementia.
As a country girl at heart who grew up on a family farm, Steph knows firsthand the challenges of accessing essential services outside of metro areas. This lived experience drew her to telehealth and the Pop team, where she is passionate about offering quality, accessible support regardless of a person’s location. Steph brings immense compassion to her role, focusing on supporting the whole person to achieve their goals and action meaningful change.
Steph has a particular interest in coaching and nervous system regulation to enhance the therapy journey. Her additional training includes being a certified Functional Breathing Instructor (Oxygen Advantage) and completing Counselling Education in Aphasia Rehabilitation (CLEAR) through La Trobe University.
