Clareโs passion for working in telehealth was sparked when she worked as an English as a Second Language tutor throughout her studies to become a speech pathologist. She recognised the benefits and ease of access for families, and saw even further potential for telehealth during the Covid pandemic when therapy was accessed via Zoom sessions.
Clare has previously worked within a specialised school for children with a language disorder as their primary diagnosis, as well as in private practice and mainstream schools. Throughout this time, Clare has developed a passion for supporting children and adolescents in literacy, language, social communication and articulation. She is trained in the Sounds Write literacy program, and the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk program.ย
In her spare time, you can usually find Clare at her aerials studio training in lyra and dance trapeze, reading a cheesy novel or designing accessories!
