Charley’s path to becoming a Speech Pathologist was shaped by personal experience. Her brother had significant hearing difficulties and a bifid uvula as a young child and started receiving speech therapy. Charley often acted as a translator for him and was inspired by the progress he made from his sessions. She still has a clear memory of him saying her name for the first time. This created her passion for helping children find their voices and her desire to help others make those memorable moments (big or small).
Graduating from ACU in 2021 and with over three years of experience in Speech Pathology, Charley thrives in supporting school-aged children with their literacy and language needs. In her pursuit of excellence, Charley has completed additional training in Sounds Write, SEA Bridge (ND Affirming Practice Course), Intervention for Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, and Selective Mutism Assessment and Diagnosis. Her commitment to continued learning ensures she remains at the forefront of her practice.
When she’s not helping her clients, Charley enjoys indulging in her love for Italian cuisine, working on puzzles, reading, or spending time with her family.
