Meet Jenny Kelly

Jenny has always loved learning languages, and wanted a career in healthcare where she could make a real difference, speech pathology brought those two passions together perfectly. She’s a dedicated Speech Pathologist based in Brisbane and a graduate of the University of Queensland, passionate about supporting children and their families through family-centred, neurodiversity-affirming care that’s tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Jenny has a particular interest in fluency, paediatric feeding, and social communication. For fluency, she’s completed training in the Lidcombe Program, Syllable Timed Speech, School-Aged Stuttering and the Fluency Foundations programs. For feeding, she’s undertaken Satter’s Division of Responsibility training and attended the Brisbane Feeding Clinic Workshop. And for social communication, she’s completed Hanen’s Early Years More Than Words program and trained in Comic Strip Conversations, alongside Sounds-Write literacy intervention and DTTC.

It’s that neurodiversity-affirming mindset that shapes everything Jenny does: she sees every child’s way of communicating as something to understand and build on, not something to fix. Outside the clinic room, that same care and curiosity carries over into how she connects with the families she works with, treating every session as a two-way conversation rather than a one-size-fits-all program.
