Lauren grew up in Central NSW on a property and completed her entire schooling via Distance Education. She moved to Newcastle to study a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the University of Newcastle.
Lauren began developing a passion for working with families and children while volunteering at a childcare organization during her teenage years. Her desire to serve communities continued to grow during her university years after observing so many families struggle to access quality healthcare.
Prior to working at Pop, Lauren began her career in private practice at a small coastal town and concentrated on working with vulnerable teenagers. Lauren has a special interest in all things language and literacy and loves watching her clients grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.
When Lauren isnโt working, you will find her playing piano, relaxing at the beach or spending time with friends and family.
Pop acknowledges and pays respect to the past and present Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
