Meet Bek, a dedicated Speech Pathologist based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Bek graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from Australian Catholic University in 2018 and brings seven years of experience to the team. She spent her first year practicing in the Hervey Bay and Wide Bay Burnett regions before settling on the Sunshine Coast, where she spent six years at a practice focused on complex communication needs.
Bek has extensive experience in supporting communication across the lifespan, with a particular interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and complex communication. She excels in all aspects of AAC, including PODD, TD Snap, Proloquo2go, LAMP, Grid3, Key Word Sign, Eyegaze, and switching. Her clinical toolkit is further enhanced by being Dysphagia Disorders Survey Certified and having completed PROMPT training.
Bek enjoys creating a fun, warm, and collaborative approach to therapy, ensuring her clients feel supported and empowered.
