Alison calls the South West of WA home, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for education and language to her role as a Speech Pathologist. She has dual training in both teaching and speech, graduating with a Masters in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney back in 2011/2012, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary) from Edith Cowan University in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Languages.
Alison’s journey into speech pathology was driven by her lifelong fascination with education, speech, languages and culture. She brings a unique perspective to her sessions with her years of experience in both speech pathology and teaching roles, starting in paediatric disability care and moving to a school for students with DLD.
Her clinical interests encompass literacy, language, speech, and feeding, and she has continually enhanced her skills through additional training in courses and programs such as Hanen, Sounds Write, Talk for Writing, and Word Aware.
