“If you all work online, how can you have a Christmas party?”

Yes, some people are absolutely baffled that we can work from home AND spend time with each other in person.

Pop has grown and grown and GROWN to have hubs of employees all across Australia.

This year, Pop hosted all-expenses paid dinners in Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney! And YES of course we had an online event for those who weren’t able to travel this silly season.

What a treat to get to share a meal and drinks (and jokes) with the brilliant minds of our team 🥰🥂

Heidi still practices these strategies with her two-year-old!

Modelling chewing with your baby and/or toddler is one way to promote optimal oral development.

Here’s how you can do this:

1. Sit with your child during meal times and offer age-appropriate foods to practice chewing.
2. Always chew even if you are offering soup or smoothie!!
3. Make chewing fun, for example in Heidi’s house they have a chewing song “muncha muncha, munch, munch, munch, munch, munch!”
4. Literally do this at every meal. You want your child hardwired to CHEW EVERYTHING.

This book comes highly recommended by the whole Pop family. It sits close to our hearts as it was written by the mother-in-law of Josie (one of our Pop Speechies) about a cause that impacts SO MANY Australians.

Josie’s partner lost his sister - Hannah - to melanoma when she was just twenty.

“His family rallied together doing huge treks all over Australia raising awareness about melanoma in young people and raised huge amounts of funds over many years for research to help fund research for a cure/treatment options.

“Maura’s book is about where and why it all started. She is a brilliant storyteller and you can feel every emotion in her writing."

Pop’s Exec Team bought all our staff ‘Ride 4 A Cure’ by Maura Luxford (signed by Maura herself!) for an extra special book club earlier this year. Safe to say Josie was right that we felt every emotion and had tears for much of the book!

Maura generously donates 5% of profits of book sales to the @australianskincancerfoundation (if you needed any more reason to pick up your own copy!)
