Emily was born and raised in the Hunter Valley and completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Hons) at the University of Newcastle.
As a new graduate, Emily lived and worked in a rural town in NSW. She has a true understanding of long waiting lists and how hard it is for families to find a speech therapist, let alone the right therapist for them. She has also worked closely with Aboriginal communities and is very passionate about providing therapy that is culturally sensitive and includes the entire family.
Emily enjoys all aspects of Speech Pathology and has experience working with a range of difficulties (e.g., speech, language, literacy, stuttering, and social communication). She has also completed additional training in the Sounds-Write literacy program.
