Growing up in the Hunter Valley and working in a small rural town after university, Emily has a true understanding of long waiting lists and how hard it is for families to find a speech therapist, let alone the right therapist for them!
She has also worked closely with Aboriginal communities and is very passionate about providing therapy that is culturally sensitive and includes the entire family.
Emily enjoys all aspects of Speech Pathology and has experience working with a range of difficulties (e.g. speech, language, literacy, stuttering, and social communication). She has also completed additional training in literacy programs including Sounds-Write, Read 3 and the Spalding Method, as well as the Shape Coding System.
