Bella grew up on a small block of land on Sunshine Coast with a menagerie of furry friends and moved to Brisbane to study a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Australian Catholic University shortly after school. Since graduating in 2021, Bellaโs passion for working via telehealth comes from completing much of her degree during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the importance and relevance of online therapy services was recognised like never before. Everyone deserves to have timely access to quality Speech Pathology services; whether due to global pandemics, rural/remote location, or you would simply prefer to access therapy services from the comfort of your own home.
While Bella enjoys all areas of the Speech Pathology profession, her special interest is in supporting babies, children and adults of all ages to eat well, enjoy mealtimes, and just love food. Whether itโs helping a tiny bub transition to solids, introducing more flavours and textures to a โpicky’ eaterโs diet, or managing the swallowing and airway safety of older clients with dysphagia. She also has training and experience in literacy support, emotional regulation, and augmentative and alternative communication.
When sheโs not working, she can be found spending time with family and friends, reading a good book at the beach, or trying a new local coffee shop.
