Jemima grew up in Armidale in regional NSW. She graduated from Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology.
She’s passionate about supporting individuals and their families from right across Australia and wants to ensure that everyone has access to quality services regardless of geographic location or circumstances.
Jemima previously worked in a multidisciplinary practice in regional NSW and had clients from hours away as there is limited access in small country towns. She understands the need for access in all areas of Australia which is what she is now able to achieve.
Jemima enjoys all aspects of Speech Pathology and has experience working with a range of ages and difficulties (e.g., speech, language, literacy, swallowing, fluency, etc.). Jemima has worked with clients who have ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ODD, Cerebral Palsy, developmental delays and learning difficulties.
Jemima has completed a variety of training and professional development including Sounds Write literacy intervention approach. She is passionate and enthusiastic about providing high quality, evidence-based client-centred care and enjoys working closely with clients and their families to achieve their goals.
When Jemima isn’t working, you’ll find her spending time with family and friends, travelling (when able to!), and trying out different creative hobbies such as sewing.
