Please note: Kris is currently on extended leave as she travels around Australia but will be back shortly
With over 20 years of experience in education, Kristyne joins Pop from the heart of Central West, NSW. Beginning her career as an Early Childhood Educator, she earned her Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). Inspired by her students with complex needs, Kristyne pursued further studies, completing a Graduate Diploma in Learning Difficulties and a Master in Special Education.
But it was still clear to her that there was a gap in supporting students with the timely therapy services they needed. This fueled her decision to further her studies with a Master of Speech Pathology from Charles Sturt University. Now, she stands ready to support children and their families across Australia in accessing high-quality therapy services.
Kristyne’s clinical interests are diverse, reflecting her curiosity in various areas such as AAC, Complex Communication Needs, Language and Literacy, Speech, and Early Intervention. Her continuous learning includes training in Multi-lit, Talking Mats, the Westmead Feeling Program, and specialised training with Sue Larkey in Autism.
Off-duty, Kristyne can be found tending to her cattle in the paddock or exploring walking trails with her husband. Her wanderlust extends to travelling, with New Zealand’s South Island holding a special place in her heart.
