It was such a privilege to be interviewed by Sammie O’Brien for the Graziher podcast ‘Life on the Land.‘
Living in Roma and working as the sole paediatric speechie for the entire region back in 2017 was the emotional turning point that pushed me to quitting that stable job.
Taking on the mammoth challenge of trying to convince people that telehealth speech pathology not only worked, but was going to be the best (and cheapest) way to get the best and greatest outcomes for country kids became my obsession.
For the past six years I have strived to lead our incredible, talented team towards CREATING RIPPLES OF IMPACT ACROSS AUSTRALIA using mainly my core values.
Those same values were bred into me by my upbringing in the bush.
I truly hope that pop. can make a huge difference in the lives of those who live on the land, and those who are isolated throughout Australia.
I’m so proud of my talented team and how far we have come.
Thank you to all of the incredible bush families who support pop!

Who is Graziher?
Graziher was founded by Clare Dunne for similar reasons to why pop. online speech therapy was born. Both Clare and Heidi wanted the experiences of rural and remote people to be heard. While Heidi heard the struggle to access quality health services, Clare worked to amplify the amazing stories of young women in the bush through her magazine and podcast.
