“I love working with the adults in a child’s life — Coaching them on how to use strategies at home or in the classroom is such an important part of the process, and it really supports client progress.”
~ Lauren
With a degree from Charles Sturt University and nine years of experience in speech therapy, Lauren brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to her role. Her passion for speech pathology was sparked when she witnessed speech therapists help her best friend’s father communicate with his family again after a traumatic brain injury.
Lauren thrives as a “true generalist,” with substantial experience working with school-aged autistic children. She is passionate about supporting older kids in building their social communication skills—whether it’s interpreting social cues, turn-taking, or problem-solving.
Teamwork is also at the heart of her practice, collaborating closely with parents, caregivers, and teachers to maximise the outcomes of her clients.
Beyond her clinical work, Lauren has completed extensive additional training, including:
• The Curiosity Program
• Attention Autism
• Colourful Semantics
• Shape Coding
• SOS Approach to Feeding
• Hanen More Than Words
• It Takes Two to Talk
