Meet Emily Alexander, a Speech Pathologist and Team Leader based in Brisbane, Queensland. Emily holds a Masters of Speech Pathology from Griffith University and brings a unique perspective to her practice, having worked as an Inclusion and Literacy teacher for over seven years prior to becoming a Speech Pathologist. Since 2021, she has worked in private practice and the not-for-profit sector, where she excels in delivering consulting and coaching to early years teachers across Queensland.
Emily has substantial experience in designing professional development for educators, focusing on early literacy, language, and the universal implementation of visual supports and Key Word Sign. Her clinical passions include early communication, parent coaching, and school-aged language and literacy. Because she deeply understands the school curriculum and the challenges teachers face, she is most passionate about providing compassionate consulting that validates the educator’s experience while supporting student growth.
