Michaela calls herself a Central Queensland local although originally from Adelaide, South Australia. She road tripped with her family up to Rockhampton at 8 years old and never looked back.ย
Michaela graduated from CQUniversity in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and motivation to jump into the workforce to continue learning.
Before joining Pop Family, Michaela worked within the disability sector where her love for AAC and early intervention came to life. Her caseload consisted of paediatric clients with ASD, ADHD, ODD and/or FASD and visits all over the community, in homes and at schools.
In her spare time, youโll find Michaela drinking latteโs on the beach with her dachshund!
