Chiara was born and raised in Sydney, before relocating to the Central Coast of NSW. She first commenced two years of a Bachelor of Science, then found her way into allied health and completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at the University of Newcastle.
Chiara was drawn to speech pathology after following her younger sisterโs journey of having a stutter, which highlighted the special role Speech Pathologists have in supporting communication.
Chiara has always had a passion for working with children and has experience in disability and paediatrics, having worked with children with a variety of diagnoses and needs. She enjoys many areas within the field, but has a particular interest in fluency (stuttering), speech sound disorders and literacy.
When sheโs not at Pop, you can find her playing or teaching music, hanging out with her cheeky puppy and cockatiel or spending time with friends and family.ย
Pop acknowledges and pays respect to the past and present Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
