Originally from Ireland, Alex earned a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy from University College Cork in 2014, followed by an MSc in Dysphagia from Trinity College Dublin in 2015. Since then, Alex has worked with both children and adults across a range of settings, from disability and private practice to aged care and community support.
After moving to Sydney in 2019, Alex continued to bring warmth, knowledge, and a passion for communication to every client. With extensive training in areas like Hanen (It Takes Two to Talk), SOS Approach to Feeding, Shape Coding, and Teepa Snow’s PAC Champion Teacher Training, Alex has a particular interest in dysphagia, paediatric feeding, adult communication, and social communication.
Alex believes that communication is a basic right. She works with individuals holistically to support them in communicating to their world.
